I took the recently winning deck type of WB Auras and made some simple changes:

Keening is leaving and we will need to rely on some spells to take her place. Also, Ainok will give us some first strike action for our heroic cards and any others we put a +1/+1 counter on. This is important due to the rotation of [c]Ethereal Armor[/c]. Giving every heroic first strike will greatly benefit our team of weenies.

Bye-bye Auramancer, you will be missed. The Dreamfinder is just too expensive to add more than 2 of. However, its ability cannot be understated. While the pilgrim lets you go fishing, the Dreamfinder can repair the damage a well placed removal spell does to your plans… or dreams as it were.

I know what you are saying. I know Snakeskin is not even the close to armor, but you have to get over it. Armor is gone. Odds are we will never see that card at common ever again. It was just too good. I chose this because it pumps and adds a benefit, regen in this case, for a single mana. That is decent value. It isn’t Rancor (another card that will never be common again) but I like it. As there are no sacrifice effects in standard right now, regen become more valuable. Would you agree?

Pacifism is out and that does not leave us many viable options for white removal. [c]Oppressive rays[/c] is nice but quickly become irrelevant as the game goes on. Since this seems to be more of an aggro build, making their best blocker considerably worse seems like a good option.

I hate you stab wound, get out of my life! Call me maybe? Anyway, stabby is gone. Say hello to some injury. It isn’t dead weight, but it aint bad neither. I think it is sufficient for our needs.

As cool as indestructible is, I think protection goes further. It works on offense and defense. You get a counter and can use the protection to bust through defenses. In a world of heroic, getting 2 counters for the price of one is value all the way around.

A nice even trade. Honestly, I like the refuge lands a lot better. That 1 life goes a long way in an aggressive pauper meta. I put these in my cube as well.

The flare is an awesome card and will be missed. During the prerelease I could not wait for my opponent to attack so I could use my sweet grip of kill shots. It is about as close to unconditional removal we will get at common in white. This format will be creature driven and driven hard. I may consider putting these in the main over the [c]cast into darkness[/c]. Would you?

We still need enchant removal. Unfortunately this removal does not come attached to a 2/2. Oh well, I guess we have to settle for instant exile instead.

Section 4: A look at Classic Pauper

Want to see double turn two kill?

Dan has done some crazy things in the pauper gauntlet, but this was topper!

What do you all think?
