Brennon and Dan discuss Shoshenq’s massive raid on the Levant, including his theft of the Arc of the Covenant (fortunately recovered by Indiana Jones)

When some bedouins (Arabs?) harass the northeastern border of Egypt, pharaoh Shoshenq, first of his name, uses the opportunity to gather a mass army and after beating up the bedouins, he steers his war machine into Canaan. The following massive raid ends with 165 cities being sacked by the pharaoh … maybe including Jerusalem. So why did that Arc of the Covenant end up in Tanis in Raiders of the Lost Arc? Find out here.
